Constituent Member Countries:
Countries in East and Central Africa are eligible for constituent membership. Constituent member countries as of December 1995 are Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Any other country in the region may become a constituent member when Fellows and Members of the Association resident in the country show adequate interest in the activities of the Association and request constituent member status. Council at its discretion may then recommend to the Annual General Meeting constituent member status for that country.
