Regional Meetings:
Next Regional Meeting
Marangu in Moshi, Tanzania from the 18th to the 20th of April 2007
Marangu is 45 km from Moshi town. The road is tarmarked (the cost of local
transport is 3000 T Sh). The Conference venue is Capricorn Hotel.
How to get there:
From Kampala/Nairobi one can either drive or board a bus to Moshi and
we will pick him/her from the bus station as well as those who will fly
through Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA).
Who ever flies through Dares Salaam can take either Air Tanzania or Precision
Air to KIA. The local organising Committee are arranging transport for
by road (700 km), but they need EARLY information on those travelling
plans (i.e. now)
Accommodation:
We have reservation in three hotels with booking ranging from 20-50$,but
we would ask guests to accommodate first at the Capricorn,other hotels
are Nakara & Babylone.These are hotels which we have negotiated price
with,there are several others but they range from50$-180$

COSECSA Council
COSECSA Council will be meeting immediately after the Moshi meeting on
Saturday morning at CEDHA, Arusha, Tanzania. Council members attending
the Moshi meeting will be taken by bus to Arusha early Saturday morning
so business can commence on Saturday morning.
The next ASEA Regional Meeting will be from the 8th to the 10th of August,
2007 in Pemba, Mozambique. It will be preceded by the joint meeting of
the Mozambiquean Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (AMOT) and
the South African Orthopaedic Association. Pemba is an enticing Island
holiday resort off the Tanzania- Mozambique border. Not to be missed.
The 2007 AGM and Scientific Conference of ASEA and the Examinations and
AGM of COSECSA will be in Mombasa, Kenya in the first week of December
