Periareolar Eczematons Lesions of the Breast.
K. Kimeme – Kenya

Abstract:  A review of 16 patients with eczemating lesion of the breast. The lesions were sub classified as wet and dry eczema. FNAC done did not reveal any malignancy. HIV fungal & random blood sugar test revealed were negative.

Wet eczema was treated with antibiotic with topical corticosteroid while the dry type was treated with topical steroids alone healing effected in 4-6 weeks.

No aetiological factors carried be found and postulatine of allergy to bra, clothing ointments, perfume or breast hypersensitivity have been entertained.
