Traumatic Compound Anterior Hip Dislocation Abstract: Traumatic Compound anterior hip dislocation it is very uncommon pathology. Looking at different references at the internet we did found only one similarly case. It is a 21 years old patient, male who after he had stolen a bicycle, he tried to run away and at that moment he had a crush accident with a car. He arrived in less then 1 hour at the hospital conscientious. The GCE was 15/15, homodynamic stable and presented a wound at the perineum region with repture of the abductors muscles. The testicule and the right had of femur been exposed. At the X-ray he presented a anterior right hip dislocation and a fracture of the left shaft of the femur. Debridement was done with the urologist, who did not found any lesion of the genital structures and, reduction of the dislocation was preformed at the same time. Skeletal traction was applied for the femoral fracture. Seven days later, the fracture of the femur was treated surgical with open reduction and intramedullary ostesyntheses with a K-nail. The patient was discharged three weeks later with a good result. |
