On behalf of ASEA, SSZ and COSECSA we are delighted to invite you to the Conference and Annual General Meeting to be held in Harare, Zimbabwe from 27th November to 3rd December 2004.

Workshops on Burns Management, Laparoscopic Surgery, Urological Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery are planned from the 27th to the 30th of November, 2004.

The Conference will be held at the Celebration Centre, 162 Swan Drive, Borrowdale West, Harare, Zimbabwe.

Invitation to submit papers:

The Organizing Committee welcomes papers on any topic related to the science and practice of surgery or related disciplines.  The abstracts should be submitted the 15th of October 2004.  Structured abstracts with the following sub-headings are preferred:  Introduction; Aim; Material and Methods; Results; Conclusion.

Abstracts limited to 250 words submitted before the deadline will be included in the programme.  The paper presentation will be limited to 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes discussion.  PowerPoint is the preferred mode of presentation but facilities for slides and overhead projection will be available.  There will also be facilities for poster presentation.
